Holidays. We all love them – it might just be the one thing that us Brits can agree we’re good at. But with such momentous occasions also comes the tedious waiting around at the airport – cue the Carlsberg Newsroom and our latest installment of ‘ If Carlsberg did’ activity.
Filmed at London City Airport, our next stunt features a completely unique and one-off baggage carousel offering returning travellers the chance to help themselves to one of a number of cases of Carlsberg. Labeled with the enticing copy ‘take me I’m yours’ and the strapline ‘If Carlsberg did cases’, the complimentary giveaways were an instant hit – much to the delight of the traveling folk desperate to make it home.
“Everyone knows the worst part of any holiday is the last few hours waiting in the airport when you’re desperate to get home,” comments our executive creative director, Ryan Newey. “We’ve taken this everyday moment from a low to a high with Carlsberg by giving people the chance to pick up ‘Probably the best case in the world’, leaving passengers grinning from ear to ear.”
The campaign will be supported by public relations, social media and paid for digital to drive awareness of the activity through earned and owned channels, and to build on the ‘If Carlsberg did’ property that we’ve revived and brought to life across the year through various tactics.
