David Howard

David is Fold7’s head of planning and carries over 20 years’ experience in developing brand and communication strategies for a wide range of domestic and international clients. He recently caught up with careers network FutureRising, shedding some light on how he landed a career in advertising and life as head of planning at Fold7.

In the interview, he discusses everything from his lucky break as a research assistant, to his approach to briefs and shares some advice passed onto him that he holds sacred: “A previous boss of mine (he would know who he is) once suggested I kept a piece of paper in my pocket at all times with the phrase ‘the client might be right’ written on it.
