Cazoo appoints Fold7 as lead creative agency

We’re beyond excited to announce that Cazoo has appointed us as their lead strategic and creative partner.

Cazoo has appointed Fold7 as its strategic creative partner following the brand's acquisition by MOTORS in June last year. The partnership will launch a refreshed visual identity and a new brand positioning for Cazoo, reflecting its updated business model under MOTORS.  

Founded in 2018, Cazoo became a household name as the first online car retailer to allow customers to buy, part-exchange, and finance vehicles entirely online. Cazoo’s new car search offering taps into MOTORS’ deep understanding of the market whilst delivering a web and app experience built on new, best-in-class technology. 

Giving car buyers simple, user-friendly access to 200,000 used cars from dealers across the UK making it easier to find the car that's just right - and offering an exciting opportunity for dealers to capitalise on Cazoo’s awareness with 6 in 10 car buyers still aware of the brand today.  

A new visual identity has been created by Fold7’s design arm, Fold7Design, with a consumer relaunch of the brand, developed by the lead agency, taking place later this year. 

This is the agency’s first brief from the automotive brand, having won the business thanks to shared strategic vision and creative ambition.
