Fold7 names PZ Cussons UK retained advertising and social agency

Consumer products group, PZ Cussons, has appointed Fold7 to lead its UK advertising and social marketing across its three key personal care brands: Carex, Original Source and Imperial Leather. This follows a competitive pitch which brought together the advertising and social agency briefs under one agency. Fold7 will lead the strategy and creative across all platforms for each brand.

The appointment follows PZ Cussons announcement in March this year, in the wake of hygiene importance post-Covid, its increasing investment in marketing and reaching new audiences across new channels. The new strategy includes competitive brand investment to priority products; to build distinctive and innovative brands; and strengthen consumer awareness.

Throughout its 135-year history, PZ Cussons have created some of the world’s best-known and most trusted brands. The company is in marketing leading positions across Hand Wash and Hand Sanitiser with major brands in Shower, Bath and Bar Soap.

Megan Harrison, UK Marketing Director at PZ Cussons, stated: “Fold7 displayed strong strategic and creative capabilities; digital vision and an entrepreneurial approach which made them a great agency partner. They understand big ideas which can be taken across digital and traditional platforms.”
