GroceryAid partners with Fold7 to boost awareness and fundraising for grocery workers
GroceryAid, the charity that provides emotional, practical and financial support for grocery workers, has chosen Fold7 as its strategic and creative partner.
Fold7’s initial brief is twofold: raise awareness of its services and raise more funds by the industry.
Since 1857, GroceryAid has been a pillar of support for UK grocery workers. Originally established as a benevolent fund, today the Charity is predominantly focussed on helping more people in the grocery industry through its welfare fund, which is completely confidential and free of charge.
GroceryAid has always been a much loved, respected and credible brand and service in the eyes of the grocery industry, however in recent times has become more recognised for its fundraising events than the services it provides. Fold7 will work with the charity to develop a strategic creative platform that conveys GroceryAid’s offering and clearly communicates what they do, as well as who and how they help them.
Megan Harrison, CMO at GroceryAid said: "I am once again delighted to be working with Fold7 to develop a hardworking, efficient and sympathetic creative platform that can raise all important awareness of our exceptional GroceryAid services to help more grocery workers in need. I’m excited to see the work come to life in the coming months, and witness the impact we can have in the sector on grocery workers and their families."
James Joice, Managing Director at Fold7 adds: “We are thrilled to be working with GroceryAid to provide a platform for all of its comms. The grocery sector is the backbone of our communities, and by joining forces with GroceryAid, we have a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact to the hardworking individuals that keep the sector going.”
